Find Dev Resources (finddevresources.com) is an independent directory. No account is needed to use it.
What we collect
- Searches: what you type in the search box.
- Clicks: which resources, links, and filters you click.
- Server logs: standard request data (IP address, browser, page, time) processed by our host, Vercel.
How: when you pause typing a search (or press Enter) and when you click a resource, your browser sends the search text or the resource's link to our own endpoint on Vercel (/api/track). We store only daily totals (for example "Rojo: 12 clicks on 28 Oct"), in private Vercel Blob storage. No IP address, cookie, device ID, or account is attached to these totals. Searches that look like an email address, a link, or a long number are discarded.
These totals power the Popular section, which shows the most-clicked resources and common searches. A search is only shown there if it matches resources in the directory.
Please don't type personal details into search.
Why
To improve the directory, see what people need, fix usability problems, and keep the site running and secure.
Retention
Search and click totals are deleted after 90 days. Vercel's request logs follow Vercel's own, shorter retention.
Sharing
We don't sell your data or use it for ads. Vercel hosts the site, and any analytics provider we use processes data only on our behalf. The directory page also loads fonts from Google Fonts.
Cookies
No advertising or tracking cookies. Your light/dark theme choice is saved on your device. If we ever add non-essential cookies or trackers, we'll ask for your consent first.
Your rights
Where data protection law applies, you can ask to access, correct, or delete your data, or object to its use, and you can complain to your local data protection authority.
